The Routledge International Handbook of Dyslexia in Education showcases the various examples, expertise, and successful initiatives attempted to include students with dyslexia around the globe. It highlights progress and identifies gaps for growth globally to stand united against dyslexia as a literacy problem and a specific learning disability challenge.
《劳特利奇阅读障碍教育国际手册》展示了各种案例、专业知识和成功举措,试图将全球范围内伴有读写障碍的学生纳入其中。为了团结一致攻克读写障碍(作为识字问题和特定学习困难)所带来的挑战,本书突出了各国的进展以及凸显了各国之间进步的差异。
Taking a truly global view, each chapter from world-leading experts highlights issues related to the definition of dyslexia and how it is recognised locally, its implications on relevant legislations and educational policy and how teacher training programs on dyslexia are delivered at both pre-service and in-service levels. Contributors to this handbook also discuss and compare the services and tools available to identify individuals with dyslexia, such as nationally standardized tests and tools for dyslexia assessment.

Abstract
In this paper, with the international industry’s definition of dyslexia, it explains the concept of Chinese dyslexia, and analyzes the impact of Chinese dyslexia on the development of school-children. At the same time, this paper also shares the experience and methods of Chinese dyslexia evaluation system, intervention training system, teacher training system, social service organization system, etc. In recent years, a large number of Chinese experts and scholars have carried out in-depth research and exploration in the field of dyslexia, and made breakthrough achievements in theoretical research and application of science and technology. In terms of service mode, Chinese educators of dyslexia combined the characteristics of Chinese language to innovate the service mode and create a service system which is suitable for Chinese dyslexia. In the end, this paper also puts forward the goal of promoting the development of dyslexia in the near future and calls for the participation of people from different social groups in promoting the development of literacy services in China.
